Farmers' Market in Leominster - Saturday 12th December

‘The Victorian Market’ in Leominster has been cancelled because of the uncertainty about lockdowns etc., however the regular ‘Farmers' Market’ will go ahead an Saturday 12th December

As usual there will be a selection of local producers with their quality wares: fruit and veg, lamb, chocolate, jams, cheeses, bread, cider, apple juice, apple cider vinegar, sausages, ham and venison.

The bread and cheese stalls are new additions to the market, and have proved very popular.

As it is the season for festivity, I expect there will be special items to brighten up the isolation.  Warm up with mulled cider and buy your mistletoe for yuletide decoration.

In recognition of the pandemic, I have been suggesting that we rename the market for this year as the 'Jacobean Plague Market'!  Anyone turning up dressed like Charles II will get a free drink.  Anyone turning up with a pregnant mistress like Charles II in 1665 will get a free bottle..."

The Eastern Parishes website is brought to you by Joyce, Robin, Rufus, Liz & Dai, Angus & Diane.

This website was first created in April 2020 in light of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Our belief was that an umbrella website for all the Parishes to distribute information was essential at this time.
