Thank you to the Reverend Rufus Noy and the Reverend Celia Rees for conducting tonight’s

Commemoration Service for the Duke of Edinburgh.

It was attended by people from six of the Eastern Parishes and also people from Leominster.

In the congregation, there were three former members of the Royal Household.

The church was beautifully decorated by the Pudleston Flower Arrangers Guild.

The service raised £170 for the Duke of Edinburgh’s charities.

Many thanks to all who attended.

Dear All,

At this time when our thoughts and prayers are with our Majesty and her family, it was announced on the BBC News website earlier this afternoon that the ceremonial royal funeral for HRH Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh will be held at St George's Chapel, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, at 15:00 BST on Saturday, 17 April, and that the event will be televised.

It is uncertain at this moment when the Priory Church will be having their service, therefore with the grateful support from St Peter's Pudleston, there will be an Eastern Parishes Commemoration Service held in honour of HRH Prince Philip The Duke of Edinburgh at St. Peter’s Pudleston on Friday the 16th of April at 6pm.  The service will be led by myself and the Reverend Celia Rees, and Liz Moore has agreed to play the organ for the service

I would kindly ask you to pass word of this service onto your church members, as given the short time scales we will be unable to advertise it in the usual manner.

Peace and blessings,

Rufus
